Drama

Drama is an integral part of school life for all our students

Drama• There is an annual School Themed Play in which all our students take part, incorporating acting, dance, role play and performing to audiences in our own school hall

• Role play is an important element of the English Curriculum, sitting under the umbrella of ‘Speaking and Listening’

• A part of each music lesson includes Makaton signing and singing. Both of these include role play.

• Drama opportunities from outside agencies include the DadaFest and the SandFest giving our students opportunities to perform to wider audiences around Merseyside.

• Visiting agents provide further performance opportunities –Wicked Fish, Levi Trafari, and In-Step-In-School to name some past visitors

• Our termly News Show also gives our students the opportunity to present current school activities in a professional digital way.
